It's 2020, and I know from the pass 10 years we seen some results ...

How much HP and TQ can an n54 engine handle or ...

Or what's the most horsepower/Torque seen on a stock motor that lasted a decent amount of time

All OEM with FBO?

Probably 500hp, if you are talking about longevity.

You're talking the n54 open deck block itself - regardless of components, drivetrain and transmission? People are getting up to the 900/1000hp tq range.

For longevity, many do 450whp to 500whp.
Properly tuned, can last quite a while.
600whp is pushing a bit , but, IMO properly tuned with all supporting mods, so far so good for me. Broke 2 axles, so far thats it ( and trans issues but that started with stock twins) Motor is still healthy. Move into 700whp + and bare minimum pistons and rods should be done for longevity.
