Cooler thermostat?

Anyone running one? Mishimoto makes a 74deg I believe? I used one in my Ls1? I know a cooler engine makes more power?

Isnt the thermostat electric and it opens based on a target temperature set by the DME, which varies based on conditions, driving mode, etc? Also can be altered by tunes? As far as i know these cars do not use a conventional thermostat. You should just be able to flash the "performance cooling" mode in either MHD and BM3. I tried the MHD one for a bit and it definitely worked.
