N54 4inch exhaust

Cant find any info on the topic so I'm posting this. Seeking honest thoughts on running a 4 inch straight pipe with an aftermarket resonator on my e90 n54 with upgraded turbos and CL dps.

I could see maybe 3". I don't think 4" has ever been done, at least I've never read about on this forum.

I can’t see a point in going 4inch. My corsa exhaust is 3.5 and it still a little on the large side. It has taken a few different shops to have it aligned properly without touching.

I barely have clearance with a 3.5 inch exhaust so a 4 inch most likely will have clearance issues.

Yup lol. Once you have catless dps, you wouldn’t see a performance difference with 3 inch vs 4.

Correct. Can cause turbulence in the exhaust flow which isn’t good at all
