So you changed the O2 sensor (the second one right?) and the code came back 2-3 weeks later? Did you let the car fully warm up and drive for a bit and see if the code persists?

Might be worth taking a look at the wiring.

Also, don't disable a legitimate code just because you get a CEL for it lol...

You might want to drive the car around for a full heat cycle and not just start and idle it, if that's what you are doing. So drive for 10-15 mins until oil is up to full temp for example (just a benchmark to know everything is warmed up, oil temp wont directly affect that code), and see if the code comes back.

Include a little WOT as well.

Look at this thread: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1159645

Its possible you had one sensor replaced, and now the other one needs to be replaced?

I have the same error code. First got it when I switched to catless, but it disappeared on its own after awhile.

I recently switched to catted, and it returned - except this time, it isn't clearing on its own. However, doesn't seem to affect performance, so I haven't bothered fixing it.

It looks to be for the secondary O2 (after cat), so no, it should not affect performance.
