wanted to get your opinion guys as i'm on the fence if i should paint my flares the same color as the truck (silver) or does it blend with the black wheels, step bars and front bumper? also the other option is to also paint the front bumper silver as well? would really appreciate some advice here. gonna have this done probably next month as you can see my passenger rear door is starting to fade and peel...thanks fam!

You mentioned that your passenger door is peeling, so are you going in for a re-spray? I wouldn't try to match the flares unless you are getting other attributes done as well, might not turn out to be a perfect match. There is a solid bit of black on your truck, so I think the flares/bumper look fine as is. Just my two cents though. If you had chrome trim or paint matched handles/mirrors I'd say to paint the flares and bumper, but that isn't the case.

I like the black. Good contrast to go with other black items. When I spec’d my Gladiator, I chose black fenders (and black hardtop) for this very reason. Pretty sure I would have done the same even if it cost money (only painted costed money, but in theory...).

Agreed....... 2-tone silver/black combo.... definitely keep the black accents and bumper.

YUP! it's peeling as you can see. shop is gonna color match so i just had an idea of if i should paint the flares and the front bumper. with everyone chiming in i decided to keep as is. the shop will paint the flares satin black

shop is gonna charge me $1k to shoot the whole passenger side of the truck. $300 for all four flares painted black and $100 to repair a small damage on the drivers side rear quarter panel so $1400 all together

I would say the first the thing should to paint the front bumper

Right now it just looks like a gaping maw

Then take it from therr if the flates shouls be painted, it can work either way

Butni think with the front bumper and flares painted it coukd give the truck a much cooler wider look

Paint the bumper silver? Also I have no idea what a gaping maw

Color match the fender flares bumper end caps and center section. It’ll look so much cleaner and give it an updated look.

Side note I had a ‘05 Titan SE that I modified quite a bit. Loved that thing but sold it after 14 yrs of ownership and bought a Raptor last year.

Flip a coin.
Heads - Leave them black
Tails - Paint match

The trick is, once you flip the coin, before it lands, which side are hoping it will land on? That's the answer of what you really want to do.

For me, I like them black.

No just the bumper end caps and the lower black bumper. Leave the grills black.

Just get some silver plasti-dip and it will give you a better idea how it will look without the price and commitment....peel it off when your done ....the more coats the easier it is to remove
