I was looking at going to a pure stg2 turbo and I found that tomioka makes a turbo upgrade for the n55 pwg. I ran one of these on my old wrx and it was a nice high quality turbo and they are pretty popular on jdm cars.

so I was wondering if anyone has run one of these on a n55 and can chime in with opinions.

Also how does this turbo compare to the pure stg2 regarding size and power output ability?

you wouldnt really compare it to the ps2, more like the pure stage 1 or dinan turbo. ps2 is an entire turbo with an upgraded turbofold, stage 1 turbos just upgrade half of the turbo (cold side) and doesn't touch the turbofold.

yeah that's what I was thinking since it's only the cold side it would be like the dinan upgrade.
