Where were you one year ago?
Wifey and I were in London on a gorgeous summer evening. We sat at a great wine bar enjoying the view while we waited for our restaurant reservation time to roll around. Then we had a great meal at an Indian restaurant right there. I had tandoori cod. It was awesome. After dinner, we had the perfect evening stroll along the Thames. Much better times for sure. Can't wait to travel again.

We had gone through CO and up to WY. Went to Tetons National Park and Yellowstone and I believe we would be just arriving in WA about now. Honestly I hate my freaking echo because it shows me every freaking day all the fun I'm NOT having.

One year ago we skipped holidays. I was building things arround the house. Honestly, I love building stuff more, than holidays. Maybe bc I was traveling too much earlier.

2 weeks until exactly a year ago. Was in Italy: Florence & Cinque Terre. Was my second Italy trip in 4 months: first one was to Rome and Amalfi Coast. I liked Rome and Amalfi Coast better.

Apparently, from photos, I was probably at home. It’s a blank spot for those weeks, just after getting a nail pulled from my tire and a trip to LA to eat at n/naka, Osteria Mozza and Sir/ma’am.

So we don't usually travel in the Summer, last year we went to the Jimmy Buffett concert in Toronto on July 13 and then up to the family cottage for a week.

In one of the very few depressive states I've had in my life.
This year I'm not depressed at all, but with my mom in and out of the hospital, my job uncertain, school for my little boy up in the air, and the general COVID crisis, it's decidedly worse. Screw 2020, I'm hoping 2021 will be much improved. |

I had just returned home from Cape Cod for the 4th of July, and getting ready for my daughters 4th bday party, and then her heading back to Toronto with her mom after spending 7 months with me.
This year Covid cancelled the 4th trip, and I am about to go "self-quarantine" up in Canada so that I can see her for the first time since xmas. |

2 year ago, we did family Alaska cruise, drove to Montana stayed in cabin and hiked GNP, and then Yellowstone for a few days, then awesome Craters of the Moon for cave diving. |

This time last year, my wife & I drove up with a couple of good friends to stay with some others at Jax Beach in Jacksonville. We spent 3 relaxing days, hanging out, biking to bars on beach cruisers, and enjoying life.
I'm sad as 2 weeks from now we were supposed to go on a 10-day trip to London with close friends, one of whom is from Yorkshire, to visit their family. We've had to cancel since the UK has a mandatory 2-week lockdown for any international visitor. We're hoping to reschedule next year. Sidenote: saw someone was in Cinque Terre. 5 years ago, spent a day their hiking between the villages through the vineyards. Absolutely spectacular.

Did a 1 week trip last year right around this time in Lake Como, Italy. It was good times, was my second time there
