New to me 2017 C2!
Well, I've gone back to the Porsche brand again.
I've been wanting a 911 for quite a while (ever since the 997.2 came out), but never was in the position to do it. I had sold a 2001 Boxster for my 2006 e90 330 and had the 330 through 2015 and really loved it. I did not however love the F30, so I just went with a 2015 GTI S and modded the crap out of it (like I do all my cars). FF five years and I saw the 2017 C2's were coming down to a price that I could swing and went for it. I couldn't be happier! It's Agate Grey Metallic with black interior and of course, 7-speed manual. I'm loving it! The power builds similar to an NA engine. The torque doesn't hit you over the head and the car really likes to be revved up to the 7,500 rpm redline. I'm just starting to really push the car and it's very easy to drive at the limits. Front end bite is great and the traction out of corners is really good. A big plus is that my 8 year old daughter fits in the back without a problem. She has plenty of room. So far, I've done Rennline pedals, clear side markers and PPF. I have on order the following: Numeric shifter/cables, Bilstein C/O, DSC Sport Module, Elephant Racing Tie Rod Ends, Soul Headers and Sport Cats. Next year I'll definitely do wheels. I source the car as a CPO from Porsche Irvine, so the first time I drove the car was off the car transporter (unique to say the least). It was a leased car and taken care of very nicely. It has the following options: Premium Package Plus w/Power Sport Seats $3,970 -Porsche Dynamic Light System -Auto-Dimming Mirrors -Front Seat Heating -Front Seat Ventilation -Porsche Entry & Drive -Light Design Package 14-Way Power Sport Seats $2,320 -Memory Package Wheels: 8.5J x 20" Fr/11.5J x 20" Rr Carrera S$1,580 Sports Exhaust System $2,950 Sport Chrono Package $1,920 Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass $1,990 BOSE Surround Sound System $1,590 Instrument Dials in Racing Yellow $860 Gear Lever in Carbon Fiber $650 Lane Change Assist $850

Very nice! How do you like the rennline pedals? I have read great things about the numeric shifter too (although oem Porsche shifters leave little to be desired).

Sweet, congrats! I started looking at base C2's as well. These could be real bargains in the future.

Love the looks of the 991 I think it is the best out of the last 3 models. not a fan of the size of the new 992, do like the interior but find the exterior to big. the proportions of the 991 works better in my opinion. Congratulations for your new toy.

Hope to see you around. You're going to love the SOUL exhaust and Numeric setup.

The stock shifter isn't anywhere near as bad as my 2001 Boxster was. This one does feel a bit more positive and more sturdy. I've heard the Numeric is on another level. I can't wait!

Price: $79,800 (although I haven't found a car similarly equipped for less than $85K since) Yes, sight unseen from CA Nothing, other than a small door ding that I believe dentless should be able to get out. The car is in really phenomenal shape. Extremely clean and not much wear on the interior at all. Paint was stellar too, especially up front.
