A little tired of auto journalists comparing the front engined 4 seat CS to mid engined 2 seat sports cars (?!). What about the A45 AMG, RS3 or LC500?

Both cars play in the same league as the M2C. I can't remember any specific comparos with the A45 but there were several with the RS3 a couple years ago. Probably doesn't make sense to do it again with the M2CS since performance is likely pretty similar and majority of changes are cosmetic...

RS3 tops out at $66K fully loaded. The M2CS is what? $84k base price? That's a massive price difference. Also, the RS3 wasn't built for the track, whereas the M2CS was. Would be an interesting comparison though.

Honestly I think it's a compliment to the CS that it gets run up against the Cayman GTS instead of the A45 and RS3 which are basically glorified hot hatches. And I the LC500 is just a boat

Agreed. At least in a recent CAR Mag review I shared the Evora was in the mix.
Should be like for like 4 seaters or 2+2
