Change from metal window trim to shadow line

Just wondering if anyone has been able to change from the brushed metal window trim to the gloss black shadow line on a G01

It might be easier to wrap them with appropriate vinyl wrap.
That's what I did on my E90.
Looks good, and much easier than trying to remove existing trim (if that's at all possible on the G01)
