Why is the US X3M Competition 503hp and European X3M Competition 510hp? The only difference is the charcoal air filters. Could they cause a 7hp drop? Just curious what everyone's thoughts are on this.

Different units. 100 kilowatts equal 134 U.S. or 136 metric horsepower.

European ones don't come with the charcoal filters, correct? Do Canadian ones have the filters? They are just for evaporating fumes correct (EPA requirement)?

friend of mine has an x3m as well he said there are some charcoal filters in intake box before air filters which can be removed and its not gonna make any bad results, its just for the emissions and plus it will add some increase in turbo spool sound. any info regarding this?
