I think it looks amazing! The S5 already looks great next to the M3, the RS5 just needs a little more aggression. Looks great so far. I hope the rest of the design is just as good. Thoughts?

Looks amazingly nice and clean. Like the C63 its sure to be an M3 killer at least in straight line driving. It is speculated that is will have a 4.2L twin turbo V8 with at least 450bhp (I think closer to 500 though) and with HUGE torque of close to 500 lb-ft. Its also heavier than the M3 but still, more than enough power to make up for that difference.

I notice this one has the slats the same as in the R8 and RS6. I wonder is this a close to finished bodykit or is there more to come?

I would say yes. If you recall mate that when Audi test the RS models they always use the S-line variants and test the components. The only clues were the twin exhausts. Think back to recent RS6 mules that were running around.

Now we are seeing the TT-R with final bodykit and the RS5 with a production front bumper. It wont be long before we see it with the full body treatment

I think this is probably the body kit for the upcoming S5 Evo which Audi recently let some journalists test drive. Basically, it is the S5 with its motor tuned to 420hp. I'm starting to think that Audi is going to sell the S5 Evo at a price equal to the M3 and then offer the RS5 at $10-20K more. The B7 RS4 was really expensive compared with the E46 M3, running in the high 60's or low 70's. Also there are a couple of visual cues that this isn't the RS model. RS models have only 2 exhaust pipes and widebody kits. The car pictures above has neither.

If the RS5 wasn't going to be >$75k, I would consider it. Being that an S5 can be easily beat by a tuned 335i, I don't think the S5 cuts it in terms of performance. The RS5 will surely be a monster, but way too expensive, imho.
