creaking from the sunroof?
anyone have a mild creak from the sunroof? i cleaned the seals and gumi pfledged them, but no luck.
fwiw, i think *that's* why i complain about the ride -- it's not that it's harsh, it's that it rattles :/

Yes, on and off. Yesterday it was bad, like really bad related to road vibrations. I opened the roof for a minute, closed it, and it was almost all gone. I'm having a hard time deciding if it is more the glass or the retractable cover, or both. I think mine is probably the glass though. If it keeps up I'm gonna have to do something about it.

Out of interest how does your sunroof seal when closed. I ask as I've noticed on mine on the inside when the sunroof is closed the seal on the drivers side is compressed quite heavily but on the on the passengers it's not compressed as much. I noticed when I got the car that the sunroof doesn't sit flush to the roof when closed but didn't think anything of it. Not sure if this is anything to do with the noise but just thought I'd mention it. |

for me it's definitely the glass, bc i have the cover all the way open and the sound is from above me.
sunroof sits flush with the body when closed.
