Looking for feedback on these BMW parts vendors
Hi All, Can you share your experience in ordering parts from any of the following sites?
http://ecstuning.com http://pelicanparts.com http://fcpeuro.com Any other sites to consider? I am specifically wondering about: - Price - Shipping - Quality - Any customs issues (Aussie) |

I've ordered air filters twice from ECS Tuning and they're been great to work with.

I have dealt with Pelican Parts many times with good results.

I've ordered from Pelican and ECS. Better luck with them than amazon. No issues with either, ever.

Don't forget Rockauto.com
Usually their shipping is a lot cheaper than the 3 previously mentioned and they include taxes so you don't have to deal with duty fees. And prices are shown in the currency you want. |

It's kinda hard to imagine there isn't an equivalent specialist in BMW parts down in Australia unless you are looking for something VERY specific
I mean a quick gander on google suggested a few already It'd likely be far faster, and likely you won't have to pay your first born on freight Just personal opinion here, all 3 are very reputable sources, I just think you will be overpaying for shipping.

When I did the clutch etc. on the Moupe last year I ordered from all 3 listed by the OP. They were all pretty good. I was using a ton of the videos on Pelican Parts so I felt as though it was only fair to order from them. When it was all said and done someone mentioned RockAuto to me, and I looked up some prices there. They were much lower than I paid! I can't speak to international orders but RockAuto is most likely to have the best prices.

RockAuto rocks) unless you are buying high failure rate parts and/or planning to double the number of miles on your vehicle, buying most of the parts from fcp euro doesn’t make too much sense.

I'm in Asia and I've used both ECS and FCP Euro. Both are easy to deal with and I've had no issues with shipping. I do try to use FCP Euro as much as possible for their lifetime warranty.
