They teased this car, and delayed it so many times, all for this, a "coupified" version of the mediocre QX50. At this point Infiniti needs to throw their currently lineup in the trash and start over (or just quit like I discussed in another thread).
I see hints of the old FX, but nothing can beat that one's styling. And the front end, the normal QX50 had a tasteful front end, this one is just overly aggressive and blinged out with chrome. Luckily everything past the front end is much nicer, but Infiniti is really still pushing their awful and outdated two screen infotainment setup and even worse, using the same FWD chassis from an Altima with the VC Turbo engine which is pretty lackluster and the horrid CVT. Just so many things to not like about this car or what Infiniti's done for the past decade since the introduction of the Q50 and changing of names. Despite all that, the lease rates will likely be good and may actually sell, but even in an SUV dominated world, Infiniti's current sales (even before Covid) were real bad. A change is desperately needed at Nissan. |

That terrible old navigation screen totally ruins everything.

So do I, but they do sell well to the 99 percentile, and that's what Nissan needs right now

I like the exterior a lot. Interior to me already looks old though. Something about how all the upholstery is fitted, shaped, and stitched looks off. Like old and cheap. Might be comfortable though.

I'm not a big fan of coupe suvs or really small suvs in general. To my eyes the exterior of this car looks worlds better than the X4. Interior is the exact opposite.

The interior dual screen is garbage.

Agree. When you are looking for a Sport Utility Vehicle with a lot less "utility" that does nothing better than the original functionally, I think normally paying more for it.

Every now and then a beaten up riced out G35 coupe cuts me off in traffic to remind me the brand still exists.
