E92 335i Making clanking sound

I recently bought a 2007 335i and its been driving great up until last night, when i pulled out my house i noticed a clanking noise coming from underneath the car only on acceleration, it seems to be coming from the transmission area, any ideas on what it might be? Its also a 6mt if that makes a difference.

You get the noise when you accelerate or when you turn the steering wheel?

Only on acceleration right after shifting gears
