Can anyone recommend a good servicing dealer in the area for in-warranty service?
I came across some older threads that mentioned Flemington BMW and someone else mentioned Princeton BMW as being good now that it's under new management. Advice would be appreciated |

Wide World has been excellent for me. Jesse is my preferred lead tech over there.

Ended up doing the 1200 break in service at Rallye BMW. Waited for the car, pretty seamless.
Im still looking for a good dealer for in warranty repairs/maintenance. I don't mind driving a bit as long as quality of work is excellent. I hear Otto bmw in PA is good too. My suspicion is that the farther away you go from nyc, the better the quality of service. |

in the tri-state area I have had the best luck out of BMW of the Main Line in Bala Cynwyd, PA. It's basically Philadelphia. Usually the main line is the last place in PA'd id be for a deal, but I'll just say over the years for whatever this dealer has cut me some huge breaks. Not sure why, could be luck, but happened more than once now and never anything like that at another BMW

How are you defining a good in-service dealer? I am in northern NJ. I tend to go to Morristown BMW, and if they are not available, then I go to Springfield. I have never really had any major issues and decent experiences with them. Morristown got ticked at me last time though because I needed to change the brakes on my X5 lease so I did it at a local guy instead of the dealer. Not paying dealer prices for rear brakes with ~10 months left on the lease.

Thompson BMW in Doylestown PA has been my go-to dealer for service and all my mods. Great service department, strong M car expertise. M tech Mickey is the best!

Can’t recommend Rallye for many reasons including incompetence and lying. I support honest and truthful people and businesses. Take your business elsewhere and be happier.

I wouldn't call it LYING but Rallye had my exact build and I inquired about matching local discount (missing one desired feature). The salesman used the 'somebody just put money down on it, so we can't possibly talk discounts. Oh but we doubt they are serious, so you could still maybe buy it next week - but crazy to talk discounts on cars THIS in demand'.
Why is it that every car I've ever looked at was just looked at by somebody else about to come back and pay list price or better? . Just checked, and it is still on their lot... |

They do plenty of typical dealer bs but not pleased w their shadiness and sloppiness. Botched paperwork. Selling different product than discussed. No familiarity with their products and computer system. I’m happy to take this offline w details if you wish. Not here to air dirty salaciousness but provide my honest experience and advice. Plenty of reasonable dealers out there. I hear world wide and Thompson are good.
Was warned by several colleagues prior to sale but felt honored to follow through w sales handshake. Lesson learned. |

I feel like every BMW dealer in the tri state area is shady in terms of their sales dept, that's why I bought my car out of state w/ PCD. Have you guys had experience with Rallye BMW service? |

I'll most likely use Morristown for my 1200 mi service, just based on convenience for me and the fact that it's just essentially fluids. If anybody has a good SA at Morristown, please DM me, thx. Will report back my experience, just another 700 miles to go...
*update Uneventful 1200 mi service at Morristown. Arrived with 1201 mi and left with 1201 mi. Though still waiting for them to email/mail me the service invoice. Last edited by iWayne; 04-08-2021 at 02:28 PM.. |
