I bought a used X3 G01 M40d with a pretty good options list except the Driving Assistant Plus. The car comes with 5AS Driving Assistant and 5DF Active Cruise Control. Besides the steering wheel, which includes the buttons for the Driving Assistant Plus, I can imagine that the hardware is sufficient for a possible retrofit. Is here anyone who did this or knows what to do?

What does the website show the differences for Driver assistance versus driver assistance plus.

I have driver assistance plus with additional stop and go in my vehicle. I believe for ACC with stop and go option it needs a different DSC unit

Maybe the Cross Traffic Warning Front includes a different or additional sensor in the front...

Cross traffic front and rear requires a sensor on each corner of the vehicle, 4 total in this situation.
Still doesn't give too much information about hardware differences but I would think there's more under this option list than just words. I remember someone on the group added driver assistance plus and listed everything that was replaced. I'm confident one of those things was the DSC control unit.

Try searching driver assistance plus retrofit. It was definitely a few months back.

I have 5AS Driving Assistant and don't have Parking Assistant and I want to only install 5DF Active Cruise Control without the steering, not 5AU Driver Assistant Pro.

1. Short front range sensor and bracket (eBay estimate $500)
2. DSC control unit with ACC and FSC codes VO coding. (Can't find on eBay)
3. The grill and bumper (Can't find on eBay)
4. I don't think the steering wheel buttons are needed if I don't intend to ever change the follow distance, I always keep it on the shortest setting.

Where can I get the parts 1, 2 and 3 for my VIN 9N10419? I cannot find the parts numbers on VIN decoder or Bimmercat.
