I read the book, it's not a groundbreaking story but it's basically all war and aerial dragon battles. If HBO throws a similar budget at this series at least we'll get some epic action.
The GoT show runners really got in trouble when they outkicked their book coverage (because of GRR Martin's lazy ass not completing the series). This book is completely written so they don't have to confront that problem. |
