Wheel Cleaner

I find the wheels (standard comp model wheel, 818M) are a pain to keep clean. I only have about 500 miles on the car, so I know the brake pads are still getting acquainted with the rotors, but boy, the brake dust is something else. I tried a ceramic spray but it doesn't seem to do much. Seems like when I wipe them down, it leaves a cloudy smudged look on the black sections of the wheels.
Any advice for any type of wax, coating, etc, that I can use to make cleanup easier. Thanks

Firstly, a very thorough jet-wash to get the surface grime off.

Then, I use Autoglym mousse:

... a bit expensive but quality product and the mousse sticks well to the wheel while doing it's business.

Then, use brushes of different sizes to get into the wheel without scratching the black lacquer.

Then a final jet-wash to get all the chemical off ... and a dry-off with a micro-fibre towel, and then some decent tyre seal.

Very satisfying if a little time-consuming!

I have my wheels coated with CQuartz Professional. Makes cleaning a breeze! It's going to last about a year but then I plan on getting them coated with Modesta BC-06.

I used Flitz ceramic sealant (advice from neighbor) and gave the wheels 2 coats about 48 hours apart, yet I don't care for how it might be working.
Are any wheel waxes any good?

I've used wheel waxes in the past and they don't last very long. Cquartz has a product called D Lux which has good reviews.
