Such a fun car

Finally winter is coming to town (in Norway), and with it comes a lot of opportunity to have some fun on my little day to day driving. I'm always in either MDM or all ESP/Traction control off. Sometimes rear wheels only as well. What a fun car for winter! with the crazy torque of this car, you dont even need the revs (and the need for a warm engine) to have a good bit of fun. I'm in love

Good to hear your enjoying it, careful with that RWD only mode or you may find a tree very soon

I can agree with that... I forgot I had left it in RWD mode and did a lane change and a moderate acceleration on the highway, wet weather. I had a bit of tail slipping in 90 KM/h in moderate to high traffic, funky! The torque and power of this thing is astounding. It went well but taught me to make sure I'm in 4WD before doing any casual driving.

Anyone else forgot they had RWD on?

RWD only is dangerous. Bad idea to have it only with all Traction control turned off. Should have been an option for rear wheel drive WITH TRACTION CONTROL. Bad decision by BMW. Just for Drifting....not driving....

Dumb dumb dumb

Yep, had that once not too long ago, got sideways on a turn and thankfully there was no one else on the other side of the street. Was headed towards a curb but then pulled it out. The guy in the car with me said "it's been a long time since I've been sideways in a car" and then "I was really worried that these awesome rims were going to be destroyed." LOL.

It is really easy to break these tires loose in RWD only.
