Reasonable % off msrp on new 2021 purchase in January?
Long time lurker. First time poster. Will be financing new 2021 x3m40i this month (January). Being as though it's the first month of the new year, what % off msrp can I reasonably expect to negotiate to? Plan on putting at least 20% down in cash as well. Should mention that the average msrp of build I'm looking at is between 62-65k. Also, haven't been able to find 100% exactly what I want on the lots so also considering a build.., tho I believe I will not get a substantial % off msrp is I decide to go this route. Credit is stellar as well so I am expecting the best apr available for the remainder of the finance Hopefullly this post is in the best place to receive the most responses from wealth of knowledge off this forum. Thanks a million guys

I’d aim for 10-11%+ off of MSRP before incentives. I’ve seen some good deals out of the northeast, your best bet would be to read through this forum, find someone in your local area that got a good deal and DM them for the dealership and salesperson.
Alternatively you can find brokers on leasehackr. |

I recommend going to insidecarbuying.com. I bought my car with them, and got an awesome deal. The long and short of it is, you can buy his buyers report for $99, and he'll tell you the price you should pay, and you can negotiate your own deal. Or, for $500, he'll buy the car for you, guaranteeing you that price. You can build it on the BMW website, and send him the exact car you want, and he'll call dealers within 50 miles to get the best deal.
I took his buyers report, called about 6 dealers, and got two dealerships fighting for my business. I ended up beating his price by about $1300 dollars. I got my car, which had a retail price just north of $65k, out the door after taxes, title, destination etc for $59k. I will never buy another car without getting his buyers report, and couldn't recommend him more. He's in Yonkers, and knows most of the dealers around here. You won't go wrong with him. Good luck.... |
