Nastinupe and Randy915 are the biggest toolbags ever. A party starts when the M5 shows up? Give me a break.
Good price. And you'll probably avoid the "yuppie" status those two pretty much represent the BMW brand with.

I'm not a horse power freak. I don't understand why people make purchases based purely on power. That car just isn't very appealing visually. Would you spend $60,000 on something you didn't think looked good? Plus a used Z06 is within this price range and shits all over it performance wise.

WOW! They said M5 performance for M3 pricing last year at the NYC Auto Show. What a bargain.
I've been invited by Cadillac to drive the CTS-V at Monteceillo Country Club in New York. I'm on the waiting list and will hopefully get in. 4-1/2 hours with plenty of track time for FREE! Cadillac is doing their launch here. For those of you who don't think this is the real deal, it's 15 seconds faster than the M5 around the n'ring. That was an automatic car left in auto sport mode. Oh, NewSong - I've owned a 2006 Z06. I'm not sure where you're going to put two extra passengers in a Z06.

I was pleased to see a good 6 speed being offered. The auto is actually getting slightly quicker 0-60 times. Either trans, I think it is a great value.

Wait until the new M5 is released. I hate how all these magazines/blogs compare the newest and latest cars to the E60 M5; It's outdated and underpowered compared to most of the newer RS/AMG/V lineup.

v2.0 Art and Science styling and that's what they came up. Big FAIL. I'd much rather have the M5.

You can't carry 4 people in a Corvette, nor can you cruise in luxury sedan setting. I wish I could afford a $60k vehicle

If you're going to buy a car for performance, buy a car that is 100% focused into it. If you're buying for utility, that can be had for way under $60,000. Plenty of cars have decent power, room, and comfort in the $25,000-$35,000. These $60,000-$100,000 500hp "sports sedans" seem like a waste of money to me, and are pretty ugly. Each their own, but I don't see the point of this car, the Porsche panamera, Maserati Quattroporte, most of them hideous and if you're just going to carry 4 people in a car, why would you need a 500hp engine that can do 0-60 in under 5 seconds? I think a car that tries to satisfy too many requirements at once, doesn't end up being the best in any of them.
