I'm looking for a drop, but don't want to deal with the hassle of uninstalling before lease turn-in. I figure a small drop, black springs, no issue. Any thoughts or recommendations? Clearly MSS is out, but are H&R or Eibach's offerings black?

Wouldn't be hard to spray paint the springs black. Touch up before turning in.

I bet IND would paint the springs for you if you asked.

I would have very little concern about a lease return inspector noticing lowering springs of any color. In my experience they walk around the car and check for damage. I have never seen them put the car on a lift.
