So my car is at Rahal getting a service done i scheduled 3 weeks ago. Should be simple in and out but they did their part and gave me a loaner. I keep checking on my phone app and car is still sitting outside in the parking space since i dropped. So if i can spy on this you can imagine what they can find out about our driving habits and states of tune. In the modern car there will be no secrets. Was contemplating the piggy back tune but not worth taking the chance of voiding the warranty until it is up.

i dont think anyone is under the impression a piggyback tune will not void the powertrain warranty on here.

How about my dealer service department calling me as soon as I hit the 2k before needing the oil change. And asking me when I would like to bring it in. They told me exact mileage on my car, and said yes you need the service, when I told them I'm not sure if my car is due yet

The car reports that info to BMW. I was called for spark plug service as I approached 25 K miles, called for my yearly inspection, called for Brake Fluid Flush. Its actually good that they are being proactive.

But you are correct, there are no driving secrets. LOL.

If you have a dash cam set it's wifi to the dealers wifi when you drop off your car, then you can remote into it and watch. LOL. Not that I have don't that or anything. Live feed. Front and Rear Dash Cam video with sound.
