Just curious if anyone is going to be looking at the Genesis GV70
I went and test drove the GV80 last week and was seriously impressed...
Just wanted to get an idea of what they had to offer cause the GV70 interests me, once my warranty runs out on my M40i... |

I had a list of Test Drives planned including the GV80. First one was Atlas Cross Sport, made it to the show room but did not like the back end side profile and that was it. Stop two was BMW and the rest is history .
Will take a look at it but right now is Reserve Yours only. I'll wait to see it "live". |

I went and test drove the GV 80 too, and yes its a very very nice suv, too large and will also be looking at the GV 70 sport when it gets here. the 80 was very loaded and super nice but it had zero feedback felt more like my ford transit company truck than my x4 m40
particularly liked the way the center dash showed you the side view cameras when you turned on either turn signal. and the tactile feel of everything you touch is very high end and the lane keeper worked so much better than BMW's. |

Slow in the GV80 and should be even better in the lighter GV70... Didn’t get to do much dynamic driving on the test drive but will revisit once the start hitting showrooms... Rumor has it a 400+ hp Sport model (not the Sport package) is in the works which may be very interesting... |

A pet peeve of mine it to have drink holders without a cover to hide them when not in use. They often become junk collectors. I like my X3's sliding cover....makes for a cleaner design. Overall, I think the slope of the windshield creates too short a windshield to look through. The rest of the interior is (IMHO) just "so-so". No mention of a panoramic or sunroof....that's a deal breaker for me.
