Suspension Install Quotes

What are people paying to have your springs installed? Quotes around me seem outrageous at over $1,000 including alignment. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I used to do this myself with a few hours and a spring compressor.

My experience has been $400-500 with an alignment in Maryland.

$1k+ is more like a full coilover install. I paid around $500 for my C63s.

I paid about $700 plus another $150 for the alignment in NJ. Most quotes I got in NJ were about $1500 total so $900 all in seemed like a bargain to me.
