Curious too...for v81 that is. JB3, dp's, dual cones, stock catback and stock secondaries safe?

JB3 + DP's is a SOLID combo... tons of power, no problems. We have dozens of customers, both pre-29.2 and v81.

If you want to talk to an e90post member running v81/29.2 with jb3 and DP's, talk to "gimp2x"

i have basically the same setup with v80 and 29.2...
no problems here...but i am pretty sure you need the simms from terry to run catless dps. they only cost approx $100 why take the chance and not use them?

i have had my sims with catless dps since i first got JB1.

Our true 3" catless pipes would be a great addition to the JB3! PM me if you're interested!

There are pre and post cat O2 sensors. When you remove the first set of catalytic converters the DME will detect this as catalyst inefficiency and set a code. The sims are used to fool the DME into thinking the catalyst is still in place. The sims are installed at the DME by extracting a couple of wires and hooking up the sim.

The sims are strictly for use with the catless DP's. They are piggyback irrelevant.

i have read good things about your dps, but since our stock exhaust systems are 2.5 inch, even yours need to taper down to 2.5 inches correct?

i have UR catless dps by the way.

thanks

That is correct. However we taper much later. UR is 2.5 all the way.
