My clamps are broken on the harness in front of the wire loom...got a question.

I popped the hood today to show a friend the engine and I noticed that 2 of the 3 clips that hold the first wire loom were broken. It appears the broken part is not the male end but the female part that is attached to the big plastic shroud. It happened on its own accord (in other words, not from trying to access the ECU). Raise your hands if this has happened to you. Im also interested to know if BMW replaced the shroud under warranty.

It happened to me but it was my fault...I was cleaning the engine and leaned on the passenger side wire loom and cracked one of them...Simple fix for me was to crazy glue the female side back on...Worked like a charm..

I have never seen this happen on its own. I have seen it occur by accident by individuals. Once seated, they are pretty secure and should not be able to break off on their own.
