feedback when locking doors
I have an 2008 328i coupe. When I lock my doors using the remote, I see the emergency lights blink once to show that I locked the car. However if I hit the lock button again, I don't see any lights blink or any feedback from the car. If I keep hitting the lock button the interior lights briefly turn on. Is this what is supposed to happen. I would like the lights to blink once to let me know that I locked the car. If i don't see it the first time, I can't tell that the car is locked so I just keep hitting the lock button. I like the feature that turns on the interior lights if i hit the lock button twice quickly...but if i just hit it once, i want to get some feedback from the car. Does anyone else feel this way and is this what is happening for you?

For cars with the alarm, pushing the lock button twice disables the interior motion sensor. If you listen carefully the second time you push the button you can hear the lock click. Basically you only get one notification.

The lights will only blink one time, unless you unlock them and lock them again. That's just how it is. Walk up to the car to see if it's locked visually. You can hit the button again, and you'll hear them try to lock again, but that's it.
