I'm about to take delivery of my new X5 4.0i. I have my myBMW account. My question is: is it in any way related to the Connected Drive account I'm about to set up. Any important things I need to know for setting up accounts for the car correctly?. I will be the primary driver, but my wife will be using the car frequently too. Is the dealer going to walk me through steps to set all these things up correctly? Anything I should do/know to prevent from getting lost in the accounts/passwords/profiles/keys jungle?

Your myBMW and Connected Drive account will use the same user name and password. When you first get your car, just sign in with the account you already created. Do not register for a new account. Your wife can create her own account and have her own profile in the car with her unique settings.
