ICS performance and 335i dyno day races!
whose 135i and whose 335xi?
looks like on the roll, that the 335i's were getting them and the 135i beat the evo on one of the rolls, and the EVO was BRAKE BOoSTING! Last edited by JOe335i; 10-25-2008 at 09:48 PM.. |

hes the owner, his tunning and im pretty sure his tech's car.
from last i heard, 360AWHP and 380AWTQ on that evo X, but im sure there is more from since those numbers were out. and it looks like the 135i can take it without its AWD loss on the rolls, i wonder what i had, possible dinan stage 2 custom tune? |

This was an interesting set of runs. It showed how the weight of cars really play a drastic role in real life situations vs. their numbers. I wish there were 80-xxx runs as well.... as most of you know modded 335's shine above 110, the car continue to pull like a beast while evo's will drop off.
curb weights: 335xi - 3814lbs Evo X - 3527lbs 135i - 3384lbs heavily modded 135's are going to be the cars to beat though, they are so light |

and EVO X was 406WHP from what understand from what Johhny told me?it still sad a fully bolt on stage 3 evo, pro tuned cant barely even take our simple tuned only cars(i.,e. johhny car) i think its not only the weight of the XI but the AWD drag that must of made the difference here JPsimon, as told by the races with the 135i staying right there with you guys. Pretty evident. How come he didn't comment when they had that good stretch of HWY run curving to the left? The Evo even had the inside lane and the BMWs were ahead. You can see in the one run where they started and the 135i driver hit his brakes because he thought he had an unfair jump. I would love to see the V3/JB3 135i run against that Evo, especially to hear that Narrator!

brake boost for the win, esp since there in the evo power range down low.
no brake boost and a better highway roll like the one with the left curve that evo would get spanked. |
