M2C carbon brace needs to be reglued

Hello, I purchased an M2C brace from another forum member, in shipping one of the aluminum brackets partially detached from the carbon fiber structure.

I was recommended to use 3M panel bonding adhesive, but it did not bond the pieces despite being clamped for 48 hours, twice the listed cure time.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue and had success with another adhesive?

Sikaflex 252, comes in black. I used it to re-attach one of the aluminium end pieces on my carbon brace. I would make sure you do good surface prep.
Dried the Sikaflex looks & feels like it could even be the oem adhesive, I had read it was used by Mercedes to bond carbon fibre roofs to the car.

Someone on here did have a problem with one of the front brackets detaching. That wasn't a failure of the adhesive though - it was the outer layer of the CF that failed.
