Hello everyone just replaced and coded some used index 12 injectors on my 08 e92 335i and now its running even worse than before. Super rough idle, smoke and fuel coming out of my exhaust pipes. Yes I bought used injectors from offerup that claimed to have 5k-10k miles of use. Luckily the guy I bought them off up works on n54's in his spare time so he'll work with me but should brand new injectors fix this issue?? Thank you

I would check your connections first. Pull codes.

Also could be you just need to idle relearn.

Thank you! Before I left to work I plugged in my scanner some of the codes said combustion misfires in cylinder 5 and 6. I took a look at my spark plugs which I just replaced yesterday and it has fuel on the tip which leads me to believe that he might have sold me faulty injectors to begin with.

Yeah, also did you replace seals when you put the new injectors in? Seals for injectors go bad too.

Dang. Assume you swapped coil positions to see if misfire chases as well.

Best of luck. Keep us posted.

UPDATE!!
Took out all the plugs and coils. Took a look at cylinder 6 and see a puddle of fuel and see the injector just spraying fuel... luckily my friend had another index 12 injector and swapped it out and now its running great!!
