They say the engine is “newly developed” but I find it hard to believe they didn’t just pilfer the engine from the LS500 and tweak it.
I like it. The tan interior gives me nausea though. |

They use tech that been around since the stone age so any issues have been ironed out by initial adapters. Nothing that either have released have made me look twice.

Not saying there's anything wrong with that because all automakers do the same thing. |

Glad to see Toyota making it into the 21st century w a TTV6 and at least some refresh of the body as the last one was made when Dinosaurs romed the Earth.
With that being said, this is quite underwhelming... that is the interior of a 90k car? Analog gauges? That genuinely looks like a Highlander. |

LOL - I love tan interiors. I went back to black with my prior SUV and never again. Tan is great and shows no dirt, dust, or foot prints. Good thing we all have options! =)

I do. It's nice looking overall though.

I thought one of the big selling point for this vehicle and the Lexus version was that they were suppose to be super reliable and overall abuse friendly. A twin turbo engine seems a little out of line with that mentality and one that has only been out a few years on top of that.

That can go 300k miles with no major repairs (most of the time) while retaining a big portion of its value.
Right or wrong, there's not too many vehicles out there like this.

An older simpler one, sure. A modern electronics-dependent vehicle? No way. Is there a turbo that lasts 300K?

If there's literally one car company I'd trust to pull it off, it's Toyota.
