Side/daytime lights on left faulty error when still working

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone might have experience with this or know what it might be. I get an error intermittently "Side/daytime lights on left faulty" but the lights appear to be working fine. Both sets of angel eyes are on and there doesn't look to be any difference between them.

The error will nearly always first show when I start up but then disappear normally after around 10 seconds or so but randomly come back (even if standing still).

Car is a 2009 E92 325i right hand drive.

Thanks everyone!

Clean the bulb socket with electrical cleaner, check and if it applicable to bend a little the electrical contact points on the socket to press better on the bulb.
It is intermittently losing contact.

Also check the wires going to the bulb socket, make sure they don't have green copper corrosion traces anywhere on them.

Amazing, thanks mate. Appreciate the help! I'll have to wait till the weekend before I can dig around but that sounds like it might be a nice easy solution. Will update how it goes.

Think I found the issue. The wires look like they're done for and someone in the past has tried to tape them.
