Couple questions about the M Mode button

1. Can the preferred M Mode (Road, Sport, Track) be tied to the M1 or M2 buttons?

2. Will the car default to "Road" on startup or will it remember your last setting?

Agreed, I’m sure when bimmercode releases full support it may be something we could code.

But i potentially understand why, more than likely to do with emissions for bullet point 2.

Also that M-Mode deactivates LKAS and driver assistance features. They want you to acknowledge every time that you are deactivating them so someone else doesn't start the car and not realize they are missing these features and then run off the road.
