Hey folks. Anybody know if there's a limit to the number of fobs the X7 can have. Have 3 drivers and would be nice to have 3 fobs with separate profiles. Small hassle to have to enter in priofile code when the third driver gets in to drive. Along those lines, how much does a key fob run? Thanks.

if you have digital key or digital key card (form factor like a credit card), you can use that as your third key. I don't know about adding another key fob.

BTW: I use the digital key card as our third key

A new key fob (with included physical key) will run you around $300 or so from your local dealer (at least based on a quick internet search).

If you have apple devices in the fam, you get 5 shares total so save some $$$ and use the phone as a key.

Unfortunately that is for models 2021 and newer. They need to unlock it for 2019 & 2020. Hopefully they will.

That's probably not going to happen. From what I've read it's hardware dependent and since BMW went in a different direction with this there won't be any upgrades to enable the 2019/2020 model year vehicles to work with your phone as a key. This includes both iPhone and Android from what I've heard.

Hardware change has already been proven false. One member here already has coded his to be able to do it. Just waiting for BMW to turn on the ability.
