Non-Staggered Wheels for the M3?

Is there a way to have a non staggered setup for the wheels on the M3?

With the cost of tires, it'd be so much better if there was a way to have all 4 tires the same

Maybe convince someone with the same car/wheels to swap fronts for rears or rears for fronts?

Has anyone tries front 19s on the rear?

Want square set up and wondering if it will fit.

Offset is the same et20 but the rear rim is 10.5 inches vs 9.5 in the front so the wheels spokes will be 13mm or so closer to brake caliper.
It is a tiny rear brake and it seems it is like 30mm away from rear wheel, so should be good. Just wanted to check. Not a fan of spacers

I think Imran@Evolve at least tried it for a few minutes to get a picture... not sure if he has any comments on fitment of the rear wheel on the front.

I like the base 18/19 wheels and would be tempted to get two more rear wheels to run 19s all around in that set up.

llyam5, I’m planning to utilize a square setup (four 19x9.5 825Ms) for my winter tires. That way I can get the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 tires I prefer. I’ll throw 15mm spacers on the rear to get the 9.5” rims close to the original distance of the 20x10.5 OEM rims (to both the brake calipers and the wheel arches). I run winter setup 6 months of the year, so I don’t want to compromise on the OEM look.

Thank you . Planning on doing the same. Have you tried the wheels on the rear. How sure are you we need spacers . Those tiny calipers should clear. Wheel will be a little in since the rim-is narrower but should work without spacer?

The G80/82 chassis, you can easily run square setup. 285/35/19 all around is a good start for the track, with proper offset you can do 295 all around. Cannot go 305 square as the front strut will hit the top of the tire.

I'm wondering if 4 oem rear 824m wheels(19x10.5 et20) with 285/35/19 would fit up front with no issues. Might get slight rubbing in the liners at full lock though like some people are getting with just spacers and oem fronts.

My CA answered my question about winter tires with the below quote. So I assume stock 19s fit all the way around.

Please see the attached picture of available M3 winter wheels. Below are further information about this set.

- 19 inch winter wheel set M double spoke 829M in matt black; Michelin Pilot Alpin 5. This wheel set is available at a discounted price of 3520€ when paying with a VAT-form.

BMW does unfortunately not offer a set of winter tires for this model.

Yes that is true, but the winter wheel package uses 275/35/19 which is a bit narrower and smaller diameter than the oem 285/35/19 rears.

I have 12mm/15mm spacers on my G05 X5 already. So I’m planning to throw the 15mm spacers on the rear, simply to restore the OEM stance of the 8.5”/9.5” staggered setup. (A 1” narrower rim yields 13mm more clearance on both inner and outer, given both front and rear rims are 20mm offset.)

They should, I am running a 285/30/20 up front and there is some slight rubbing on the fender liner... but I am sure that will sort itself out after a few hundred miles
