Just installed the H&R springs for the g82 m4. (part number 28616-2)
Got them from tirerack for about $380. These are the correct springs for the car, I've noticed people in nyc installing springs but they're intended for a different model I believe. Drop is 1.2" front & rear. Spacers are also installed. 13mm front, 15mm rear Will take and upload more pics tomorrow! |

Looking forward to more pics, would love to see how the front sits.
Do you have a link to the part you ordered?

Yes more pics--- the part number is correct and thanks for posting.
I do wish your car was a G80 cause thats the cause for concern as the H&R part number on that version only drops the rear .4 inches per their site. Your rear axle looks dropped nicely- congrats.

Been trying to take pics but rain has been coming down hard here. Once it clears up I'll definitely take some quality ones. So far the ride has been great with the springs installed. Here's a pic at the shop

These look like they drop the front better than the MSS

This makes me very tempted to go for these springs. I am a total noob so please excuse the silly question, but does the adaptive suspension work with these springs or would throw an error requiring coding? Also will appreciate more pics. EDIT: Sorry just saw the pics. Man it looks absolutely perfect. Cheers. |

Can you tell your driving impressions please? I have heard that some people find them a bit bouncy. Asking because I really like the look and have a G82 myself.

Here's more pics taken a week after driving with them installed. The ride is about the same I'd say. Not much of a difference tbh.

It's hard to imagine that riding this low on any lowering springs offers the same ride quality as stock over dips and bumps and such. If so, that would be remarkable engineering indeed.

H&R, shut up and take my money. I'm sold and will be ordering these.
Your car looks fantastic! Edit: Any rubbing on the front with 13mm spacers? I recall someone mentioning a bit of rubbing up front with 12.5mm spacers in a different thread, but they had Pirellis. If you have no rubbing, then this adds another plus for the Michelins. |

You have done your research my friend!! I do know that having seen a G82 lowered 1 day before mine, it starts about 3/4 of an inch higher. Its truly an off road unit.

I'm in the minority, as I'm contemplating getting the G80 (less drop in the rear) for the G82. |
