Wow. After comparing some of these sketches to actual photos of the G42, it’s now much easier for me to glean what (I think, anyway) the G87 will look like. If my mind’s eye is correct, it should be awesome!

Hm! the sketches definitely give some insight to what the G87 M2 will look like.
Time will tell but it looks promising !

I feel like the M2 will be a home run. Should clean up the weird quirks of the M240.

I know everyone is happy that they new 2er didn't get enormous grilles, but am I the only on who thinks that the new grille design is a bit weak and underwhelming? The general shape is too much like a Z4 or F80 grille i.e. it's wider than it is tall.
I'm looking at the sketches above and can't help but wonder why they didn't go with the grille design from the silver car. Those grilles are perfectly sized and shaped for the modern BMW era we are in. Maybe they are saving this slightly more aggressive design for the M2?
