For those of you who have already placed orders for M40i's, are you just assuming you're going like the revised battery enhanced powertrain?

I'm just not sure I can pull the trigger before a test drive...

I can't speak on the new series, but I can speak to Buy before try. I just picked up a '19 M40i completely sight unseen or test driven with just pictures and information online. I was looking for a specific set of packages and features on a low mileage unit and found one a state away in northern Cali. I went through the full blow process of purchasing, including paperwork signing (back and forth with fedex) and only got to see it in person when I went to pick it up from the dealer.

Granted I had driven some M40i's at local dealers so I knew what it would be like. But it was completely done online without test driving it or seeing it in person until everything was said and done.

Just drive an X5, they already have the mild hybrid setup. I thought it worked great. We almost waited for the 2022 just to get it, but were worried what other options would be dropped, so we went with the 2021.

I can't imagine how you wouldn't like it seeing there's plenty of pros and very little cons to it.
