BMW G07 Rear Seat Entertainment HDMI Port Damage

Hi everyone.
hdmi port was broken.
It's higher than a normal hdmi port.
Can you find which company made this HDMI port?

Sorry that I can't help with that. With you pulling the circuit board out, it looks like you may have electronics expertise, and I hope you find a suitable replacement component. If not, you may just have to ask the dealer to fix.

Let the dealer fix it. Way into voiding warranty of surrounding parts if dealer wants to get chippy.

How did this happen? My guess is a streaming stick was plugged in and someone kicked it??

I doubt there is a BMW "fix" for that. It would most likely be a "replace" (at owners expense) the entire unit as BMW replacement parts rarely get down to the component level for stuff like that. If you have the circuit board soldering skills, removing the unit from the car to make the repair should not have an effect on anything else, barring some type of catastrophic short circuit inside the unit (which seems unlikely).

But finding component parts like that can be a chore if BMW does not sell them. For the OP, your best bet may be looking at a vendor like DigiKey. But even then, without some type of identification markings/numbers, it can still seem like looking for a needle in a hay stack…

The dealer recommend to the exchange of RSE. exchange is too expensive.

I searched digikey, mouser, octopart, aliexpress, but I couldn't find it.
