Resell Stock Tires

If I am going to swap out the tires that come on the vehicle, where is the best place to resell them? Has anyone had any luck? Trying to figure out if it's worth the effort....

You’ll get the best return by using what you have. It’s common for tires to get damaged when they’re dismounted, so I don’t see a market for used tires (even lightly used). Some tire shops will try to resell tires that have decent tread, but I doubt they will buy your tires from you.

Your best bet is to find someone local. Used tire is used tire IMO, I wouldn't buy them unless your selling at crazy good deal. I will be replacing my Pzero with PS4S and keep the Pzero for track or re-mount them when I return my lease. Currently got about 4300 miles, by the time I switch it will be around 6K.

I believe Bestusedtires.com purchases used tires. Atleast they used to

Not sure yet... it's for a G83 on order.

Gotcha. I ended up with ps4s on my car. If u also get ps4s and need to ditch them lemme know.

I've sold used tires before. Generally, you're going to do best if you can take them off immediately (as I assume you will since the car isn't here yet) and sell them as "nearly new".

I shoot for 50% of retail, and have used forums like this and craigslist. Since the tires on our cars, staggered and different rims sizes both, are rather unique, you'll likely have a difficult time of it. The last set I sold, with about 2K miles on them (off of a domestic car) were probably around $800 new, and I got $100 for the set.

I'll be interested in buying the tires at "gently used" levels if someone really wants to get rid of their P-Zeros.
