may I ask whY? You cant just ask whether you should trade it in. I wouldnt no matter the reason though. THe only thing the 5 has over the 3 is more room. That's the only thing I could think of. I would keep the 3 because it's more fun to drive.

I like the fact that it has more room as well. At the time I bought the E90, I was looking for a 5er but did not want to wait 3 months for an order to come so I bought the 3er on the spot. It was a car in the showroom. |

Fun to drive, the 5 is not even closed compared to the 3. I never think of 525 at all, maybe 540, but it's out of reach.

^ he didnt say it was fun to drive. He said it wasnt bad. But I agree with you, no way Im trading in a 3 for a 5 unless I really want it or have a very good reason to do so. The 3 series is king!

I had the same decision in buying my 330. For me, the biggest factor in swaying me from the 525 to the 330 was the power from the 330's engine. IMO, the 525 is fairly under powered.

The dealer here is trying hard to sell 525s as well. I wonder if this fortells a change with the 2007 early switch, or just getting the 2006 models out before the model year change.

a brand new car for a used car, more mileage, and less power.....
im guessing 2.5L engines are going to be replaced really soon. E class had good deals before they released the facelift
