2022 X4 M40i -- picked up today
First BMW, came from a Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 ...
-Ordered 2021, got 2022 -This vehicle rides so nice and is really fast (they only had a 2L turbo in stock, so I actually didn't get to test drive the M40i, but based upon this forum, ordered without seeing/driving) -Start-stop is seamless -Interior is nicely laid out -- like the 12.3" screen -LOVE the extended shadowline package on white -Dealer was incredibly busy -- cars were getting delivered one after another -Schomp BMW has "one, no-haggle price" -- as salesman said, not the best, but not the worst, worked for me -Only downside -- dealer mis-ordered and I got RFT, wasn't pleased with that -All weather mats, ceramic tint and PPF to be installed soon -Can confirm 26/21/23 on window sticker -- with mild hybrid -- strange -Overall, happy with decision Last edited by newtoncd8; 08-14-2021 at 07:25 PM.. |

Congrats and welcome! White with shadowline is a great combo. The car looks great!
The good part about RFTs is that they wear so quickly that you'll be able to order a replacement set of non RFT in no time

How can you tell from looking at the dash if one has SensaTec dashboard?
The pricing guide for the X4 effective June 15 2021 shows that the SensaTec dashboard for the M40i is standard. |

I too went from a Grand Cherokee High Altitude back in 2019 and got a '19 X4. My '22 X4 just arrived and I'll pick it Wednesday

If you don't mind me asking did you have to pay a difference when you were told that you were getting a '22 instead of the '21. Or you payed for a '21 and got the '22 for the same price as the '21?

But, I got the 7/100 extended service contract (it is a BMW and all), so they more than made up for the measly $300 ..;-) |

Can you post a pic of the larger screen using car play with itunes album artwork showing in now playing full screen. I'd like to see how it looks with the larger screen.

My only other complaint/comment.
Why wouldn't BMW provide an all-season option for the 20" wheel size? I guess they think people will opt for their snow package? I am already looking at all season options to go with: a) new tires for the existing staggered setup (to replace summer RFT) b) square setup of 19" of the 887M in midnight gray c) square setup of 20" of the 699M Decisions, decisions ... I'm pretty sure all X3/X4 M40i have been delivered with Run Flat Tires. I don't believe there is an option to get Non run flats from the order sheet, unless this is brand new for 2022MY. First I've heard.

On the Build & Price for the 2022 X3. That will be my choice. All ready got the winters so no need for 4S.

The quandary all who live at altitude face. BMW has several options on the MyBMW site, as do TIRE RACK and others. My dealership will store the second set for around $200 per year so I'll likely go for a second set for winter.
