Spacers and Road Debris
I'm researching getting spacers for my soon to be delivered G80 M3 and I've decided on doing 12mm F/15mm R.
I have a question for those that have installed spacers on their car: how are you mitigating the potential for increased road debris hitting the body of the car? Is this even an issue? I'm looking at the mud flaps from Tommy L Garage as a potential solution for this? Any insight will be appreciated.

Paint protection film, (PPF) is your friend
There are numerous active Threads in the cosmetic and detailing section which should help! Edit: I also plan on going with the 12/15 set up! Think you’ll be sitting pretty soon! Are you planning on dropping either through a spring or coil over in time? |

HTTP 410 Of course! I was hesitant before wrapping mine up in PPF, but am quite happy now that I did 4 months into ownership. Have you utilized PPF before? I also opted to ceramic coat at that time, and it was like a different world/language to me at 1st. All worth it now- I have a brushless laser wash about a mile or so down the road from the house, sure is easy to keep her looking clean very easily, cheers!

Youre definitely going to get rocks coming off of the front wheels. The rear fenders hang out, wide on the M3, so, youre going to need to make sure you have plenty of protection, back there. The Factory puts PPF back there, but youre going to need more, to cover a bigger area.
