How do you post an asking "Price" in the ad thread?

Tried numerous times to post my asking price when I post an ad. While I can add a price within the body of the post, I can't find a way to add my asking price.

IOW, at the far left column of an ad thread, in the column titled, "Price," the asking prices are listed for most ads. For example, USD $500."

Some ads, though, do not show a price--only the word "None." This is the case with my ad.

So, I tried adding a price by using the "Mark item as sold" box (in red), a box which shows up in the upper right of the original ad post. But, every time I add an asking price, my change does not show up when I go back to the ad thread under the left-hand column titled "Price."

Suggestions? TIA.

From my experience, in Desktop mode website, it never publishes correctly when I posted the ad. I always had to go back into the thread and edit the post, go to advanced mode, and edit it there, and then it publishes correctly.

Same. I always make the ad, it never shows the price I put, then I go back and edit it and it takes the price the second time (for whatever reason). I always thought I was doing it wrong, but it's an easy fix, so I never changed my process.
