Order Status 112 Scheduled for daily
I've searched and searched and can't find what this means. Every search brings up 112 scheduled for production. What does 112 - scheduled for daily mean?

My production date was pushed back 3 weeks from what I was originally told. The site has said "Body Assembly Begins" for 12 days now. The order was placed on 7/18 and immediately showed the second step, "Scheduled for Production". The expected completion date is now 8/24. The car is an M440i convertible being built at the Dingolfing plant. I hope to get it by the end of September.

That is a bit odd, and I'm sure frustrating. This process is testing everyone"s patience. Dig in, and relax. I know, it's not easy.
When I need a fix, I go online and read reviews about the car, watch video's, read this forum like a madman, and started looking at 2021 owners manuals. It helps. Just got off a call with the hotline, and confirmed my build is week 36, the first week in September beginning 9/5. That's when production will actually start. My SA said first week in September, and week 35, so he wasn't that far off. Ordered on 8/9. M340 xDrive, Germany allocation. Give it another week, and check in with the hotline. |

If my car comes in before yours, I may need to take a scenic drive down to NC, and let you drive my car while you are waiting.
Anything to avoid you stroking out. https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/im...s/rolleyes.gif |

That's got to be one of the nicest things anyone's ever posted! I'm glad I'm not alone in my obsession. My wife has a co-worker who said she checked her BMW order status 3 times a day while waiting. I'm about to call the Genius Line again in a few minutes. I know I'll feel better when I see a confirmed production date.

I just called the Genius Line and spoke to a live person (I'd been using automated, which is behind the curve).
BUILD IS SCHEDULED FOR WEEK 37, which she said was September 6-10, but I think week 37 is actually September 13. Last edited by springerdrive; 08-19-2021 at 09:10 AM.. |

You're just a week behind me, we are both German builds. Here's a bit of info that could feed the obsession. I was thinking about getting the laser lights, not originally in my build. Asked my SA what the cut off was for any changes, and he said there was no specific date. (Not sure that is true.) He said, that in spite of the build dates that we have, the car could jump ahead without any warning, and start getting built ahead of the current build week. Usually, there are delays, so not sure there is any possibility of that. Has anyone experienced moving up in the schedule and getting an earlier build week, than the original one? Springerdrive, don't wear out that refresh button on your keyboard! |

Like others, I'm concerned about option deletion due to chip shortages, particularly Adaptive Cruise Control (once you've had it, you will miss it if you don't). Initially, our SA said it was not available for MY22, which is why we started out looking for an MY21. But when they placed the order it was able to be included (ZDY Driver Assistance Pro). One downside to the wait is that we're a one-car family in the meantime. The dealer offered us exactly what we paid for our 2021 Acura TLX trade-in, but wouldn't guarantee that price when we take delivery of the M340i, so we let them take the Acura upfront. The upside is that we'll have a couple of months without a car payment, more money to put down, and it seems likely that there will be incentives available when we buy. They're already offering 0.9% financing for MY22. When we do get the car, there's another very minor downside: BMW recommends limiting RPM to 4,500 for the first 1,300 miles. Under normal circumstances, I rarely put more than 500 miles per month on my car. I may have to take a scenic drive up to your neck of the woods, otherwise, it will be February before I can let her rip! |

Think we'll be ok, and not suffer any chip issues. Fingers crossed. Looking at the US site, it's amazing that HK audio upgrade is only available for the M340's and M440's. How crazy is it that you can't option HK audio, on an 2022 M3 or M4? THAT, is scary. I didn't option ACC. Never had it, so I won't miss it. You got full price for your trade in? They're low balling me on mine, so I'll keep it for now, and try to sell it privately until the time comes. Think I'll drive the new car to Montreal and back, so I can take a big chunk out of the break in period. Come on up, October is beautiful month in this area. I'll give you the tour! |
