Ordered car vs lot car

So I have an order for a 2022 m340i xdrive. The car has a sticker around 59 and is alpine white over Tacora. 792 wheels with non run flat performance tires and heated seats and steering wheels.

Dealership just got in a 2021 m340i xdrive in mineral white metallic that is loaded. Has cognac interior. Only thing I don’t like is the run flats on the 792. Sticker is around 65k. With the current incentives pricing would be similar out the door.

Thoughts?

When is your 2022 supposed to arrive? If not for a while, I would take the 21. Especially since you can enjoy the nice weather (I'm assuming you are in Connecticut?). Although you do have a 911 to use in the summer lol

2022 will arrive early November. I usually use the 911 until the temps go below freezing so I don’t mind waiting. Just trying to figure out if the extra options make up for not having a red interior (I love red interiors)

If that's the case I would just wait. Newer model year and the interior color you really want.

Having had an Alpine White M2 and a Mineral White M340 I prefer the MW but that's me....also a fan of Cognac interior and you know what they say about a bird in hand.....and you can always change out the tires...

Although I am not a big fan of cognac, but if it's the same price, I would get the loaded 2021. Personally, I would prefer to have driving assistance pro, heads up display, and real leather over red interior. Full disclaimer, I also ordered a 340iX with red interior.

So money wise it makes sense to go with the 2021. Lease payment will only be 22 dollars more a month once all incentives are in for a car with a significantly higher sticker price. Picking the car up after work tonight. I’ll post pics when the car is in my possession.
